چکیده
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have been frequently reported as effective tools for alleviating environmental stresses and promoting plant growth yield. In this study, we aimed to isolate, culture, identify molecular morphological AMF species associated with date palms spontaneous plants present at eight sites in the arid agroecosystem of Drâa-Tafilalet oasis Morocco. We tested capacity colonize micropropagated palm seedlings their first acclimatization stage. Soil root samples were collected propagate indigenous strains using trap culture techniques under greenhouse conditions and, same time, colonization potential was evaluated. used freshly propagated spores establish a collection single spore-derived cultures. Morphological, microscopic, approaches adopted quantify communities roots rhizosphere recovered sites. an inoculation experiment, inoculated consortium four cultured strains, alone or combination synthetic fertilizer compost. Our results showed that after two cycles culturing, frequency intensity colonizing host significantly increased, exceeding 91% 50%, respectively. Using three favorable growing helped increase rates proliferation. propagation resulted cultivation 13 strains. Molecular analyses revealed six different within our cultures: Pervetustus simplex, Claroideoglomus etunicatum, Albahypha drummondii, Septoglomus xanthium, Funneliformis mosseae, Rhizoglomus irregulare. Results experiment higher treatments augmented fertilizers than those supplemented compost 84.4% against 46.7% 26.1% 12.3%, respectively, intensity. contrast, shoot length stem diameter fertilizers. Synthetic might partially immobilized directly application, limiting availability resulting lower performance palms. These findings indicated groves are niche efficient can enhance early stages.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and dark septate fungi in plants associated with aquatic environments
Th ere have been several reports of symbionts in the roots of plants that live in aquatic environments. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are the most common microsymbionts and possibly recolonized the aquatic environment together with plants; however, their functions and the extent of their benefi ts are unclear. Furthermore, the presence of other groups of fungi, such as dark septate fungi (...
متن کاملSpecies of plants and associated arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi mediate mycorrhizal responses to CO2 enrichment
It has been suggested that enrichment of atmospheric CO2 should alter mycorrhizal function by simultaneously increasing nutrient-uptake benefits and decreasing net C costs for host plants. However, this hypothesis has not been sufficiently tested. We conducted three experiments to examine the impacts of CO2 enrichment on the function of different combinations of plants and arbuscular mycorrhiza...
متن کاملPlants and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi: an evolutionary-developmental perspective.
Arbuscular mycorrhizas (AMs) are widespread symbiotic associations that are commonly described as the result of co-evolution events between fungi and plants where both partners benefit from the reciprocal nutrient exchange. Here, we review data from fossil records, characterizations of AM fungi in basal plants and live cell imaging of angiosperm colonization processes from an evolutionary-devel...
متن کاملArbuscular mycorrhizal fungi ameliorate temperature stress in thermophilic plants.
Biotic interactions can affect the distribution of species across environmental gradients, and as air and soil temperatures increase, plant community response may depend on interactions with symbionts. We measured the effect of elevated soil temperatures on mycorrhizal function and on the response of both plant and fungal symbionts, using fungal inoculum isolated from either high-temperature th...
متن کاملTransition Metal Transport in Plants and Associated Endosymbionts: Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Rhizobia
Transition metals such as iron, copper, zinc, or molybdenum are essential nutrients for plants. These elements are involved in almost every biological process, including photosynthesis, tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress, or symbiotic nitrogen fixation. However, plants often grow in soils with limiting metallic oligonutrient bioavailability. Consequently, to ensure the proper metal levels, ...
